Why complaint.forum exists
Because complaining feels better when somebody else nods along.
Everybody has that thing. The hold music. The HOA letter about the wrong shade of mailbox. The "we've updated our Terms of Service." You vent to your friends and their eyes glaze over by the second sentence. But here? Here we lean in. We ask follow-up questions. We say "wait, they did WHAT?"
complaint.forum is a community of 89,204 people who have decided that the problem is not them — it's everything else. And honestly? Sometimes they're right. The point isn't to fix anything. The point is to feel a little less alone in the mild, constant outrage of being alive.
How it works
Post a complaint. The community reads it, relates to it, and upvotes it. Every upvote earns you Clout — our way of measuring how thoroughly the world has wronged you. The more relatable your suffering, the more Clout you collect, and the higher you climb the ranks.

Everyone starts at the bottom, mildly annoyed. Few reach the top. Those who do are spoken of in hushed, exhausted tones.

- 😤 Casual Complainer — 250+ Clout. You've found your voice. It's a sigh.
- 🧂 Seasoned Sourpuss — 2,500+ Clout. People tag you for backup.
- 🔥 Pro Whiner — 10,000+ Clout. A force of nature with receipts.
- 👑 Grandmaster Grump — 40,000+ Clout. Legendary. Feared by customer service departments worldwide.
The House Rules
- Complaints only. This is not a problem-solving forum. Do not offer solutions unless explicitly begged.
- Validate first, advise never. "That's so unfair" is always the correct opening line.
- Receipts welcome. Screenshots, photos, and quotes encouraged. Gloating, less so.
- Punch up, not down. Complain about institutions, inconveniences, and inanimate objects — not each other.
- Keep it (mostly) clean. Creative frustration is an art. Slurs are not.

Reading the front page and a preview of each forum is free. But the full archive, every reply, and the right to post your own grievance are reserved for members — because a community of complainers works best when everyone's actually in it. Joining is free and takes about 30 seconds, which is roughly 0.4% of the time you spent on hold last Tuesday.
